The (Big) Wedding
As much as we tried to take it all in, our wedding day flew by too fast. Few weddings happen without a hitch, and ours had a couple hiccups, but we're happy to have fun stories to tell. Sharing that day with our family and friends from near and far left us feeling loved and blessed, and we are so grateful to all who support us in our journey together.

The (First) Wedding
As you've probably figured out by now, Jill and Tim don't always go the traditional
route. So, when they saw some practical benefits to doing a courthouse wedding months
before the wedding that they were planning for October, they weighed their options
and made their decision. On March 20, 2008, Jillian and Timothy said their vows
(for the first time) at the St Mary's County courthouse.

The Proposal
With Thanksgiving rapidly approaching, Jill was hoping for a new ring to show off
for the family, Tim was hoping to surprise Jill at least a little. So he kidnapped
her and whisked her off to Gettysburg, PA for a "fun little weekend away".
Eventually the timing was right he asked her to marry him.

The Journey
Tim and Jill met at college and quickly became close friends. They’ve remained friends for the past six years, and decided in September 2007 to try dating (again). Their relationship has seen its share of challenges, but Tim and Jill are glad for the opportunities they’ve had to grow both personally and as a couple.

The Bride
Jillian grew up in the Hudson Valley with her parents and five siblings. She graduated
from Houghton College in 2005, and finished the nursing program at Binghamton University
this past May. Currently, Jillian is working as a nurse at a hospital in southern
Maryland.

The Groom
Timothy grew up in Western New York with his parents and three brothers. He
attended Houghton College and American InterContinental University On-line (AIU),
graduating from AIU in July 2007. He currently works as a software engineer
in southern Maryland.
